To the pipes
Carried so lovingly with the carafe
Filled with herbs of healing
Intoxicated I become
By the aroma alone
O Geranium you have lost
That lingering madness
Which once made me crazy enough
To carry the moonbeam in my hand;
Hopes now dashed
I seek the unfinished story
To see the curves melt into the night
The shadows creep forward
Eager to seek my hand
For I have loved
The winds of romance
And calmed the tigress of taunts
In the heart
That once carried fonts of remorse.
