Autumn Rose


Love that comes unexpectedly.
Late blooming like an autumn rose
and binds two hearts contentedly,
a gentle love that slowly grows
a little stronger every day.
No sudden conflagration
that will burn out and fade away.
A glowing flame that will burn on
reviving long forgotten dreams
and making them reality.
Our love exactly what it seems
the world renewed for you and me.

The autumn rose will symbolise
late love that caught us by surprise.
