Sunset on the Sea of Cortez

Post by Eternum 1 » Thu Jun 16, 2005 1:52 pm

Color of red lips
on azure sea
tints Spanish villas
into pink vanillas

Through crested
palms
Sols parting kiss
touches a sea
of diamonds

Mango scented breezes
waft through balconies
as lovers
open their blinds

Widows in black lace
chuckle
in remembrance
of sensual siestas

I sketch your nudity
in charcoal
as an offering
to the Aztec Sun

Must have turned out to be a masterpiece on the canvas...for it painted a picture on the canvas of my mind.. and I could picture those widows chuckling to themselves..

It was sketched on paper and we fastened it to a kite later. Just my peculiar recognition of the transience of such moments.

Who knows how far it sailed.....and yes the wisdom of old women is a treasure yet to be given its fair value.

Thanks for calling it beautiful, Debbie.

I still remain,

your huge fan.
And as I watch you in this light
I never realized your eyes were full of
So many colors.

your huge fan.
It is quite lovely.....completely different from the darker and colder Pacific ocean waters outside the gulf.

and I remain a devoted fan of yours as well.....
