The soft morning light filters through the blinds in our room. The birds sing lullabies of love, and of hope. Their beautiful music sings directly to my heart. They are free.
I look into the eyes of my love. I see my future in those deep brown eyes, my life. I smile as he kisses my shoulder. The silence whispers the words we dont need to speak.
My soul rejoices as he whispers to me. "I love you." The most beautiful words my heart has ever heard. More beautiful because his heart mirrors my own.
As he takes me into his protective arms, my heart flutters. His skin against mine makes my heart fly. All is well in our little world. A world held up by passion, revolving around love.
He lays me down and kisses me softly. Peace fills my whole being. Like the birds in the trees of the morning light, singing happily of hope, and of love, I am free.
Its more of a short story, but it has poetic value. Hope you enjoyed it!
