Golden sun,
flaming beds of Marigold.
Several sleepy orange and black butterflies
Mix with the liquid call of the Bulbul
And the pungent flowers.

The queen cuisine at Halloween:
Fifteen jelly beans and tangerines!
On the other hand, vanilla beans
And aquamarines are unforeseen!
This submarine is not unclean
With the harmonic mean between.
Grieve for greek grain not coffee beans,
For the mujahideen is May Queen.

Ode to a moment
Ode to a moment
You have hurt me deeply!
What you said may well be true
But still
Strain and explain this mundane pain.
Give me money, money, money!
It will fix this like the river Styx
Oh please
Be my funny honey sunny sugar bunny.
I need a new computer do-dad,
That will record those things I can’t afford.
You see,
I need to plead and succeed…guaranteed!
Give me money, money, money!
It will fix this like the river Styx.
Oh please,
Be my funny honey sunny sugar bunny.
What! You think I mock you?
I didn’t mean a thing unkind!
That is,
Maybe a little brittle belittle acquittal.
Give me money, money, money!
It will fix this like the river Styx
Oh please,
Be my funny honey sunny sugar bunny.

Little Joe Poet

I sang this little ditty
I thought it was rather pretty
Humming upon the way.
Along came a critic
Who was somewhat cynic
And frightened my muse away.

A dark red is felicitous
And yellow is a happy tone.
Green and red is often movement,
Whether in wood block print or poem.
White and anshoku are death signs.
Black and moshoku are unkind
While inshoku is good forturne!
What! Have I left you all behind?

winding the wind

A question, or two, I would like to wind
Perhaps, in it, the wind is redefined?
I do not wish to seen as unkind
So let me not the winding wind malign.
What is this orange doing here?

ancient wisdom
ancient wisdom
Fear is ancient wisdom, past its’ prime.
Anger arms us with foolish courage,
While love gives strength the Other to find
And hate creates a black hole of death.
Reason seeks what philosophers call truth
And logic acts as her handmaiden.
Freedom sets the questing being loose.
Existence expands explosively.
