Welcome to my world

Post by Alisdaire » Wed Feb 18, 2004 10:54 pm

Welcome to my world

Welcome to my world
Enter this mind
Draw up your chair
look deep into these flooding pools
and allow them to draw you deep
Into this wild flowing world within me.

Let me lead you beyond my spheres of dreams
Into the faded realities of times past
Give me your hand to cross that great divide
Into worlds where visions dance to the fluids grace
of inner kingdoms and rich fabricated textures
Of Soul and heart and mind.

Shall I seize you upon the velvet folds
Of waters that caress and cleanse deep from inside out
where the sea not only reflects all perfected beauty
But sings the soul to the deep lays to sleep
upon its song of ancient melody.

These are my planes, My realms that fathom deep
and fill all hope and visions within,
Where the old one's walk free upon the midnight air
To cross their fairy lilts upon the subconscious mind
To tell their tales of long ago
In the mornings lullaby.

So walk with me here, deep and warm
Where the Sun's rays fill full and vibrate
where the rain falls like stardust upon the lilac floor
and bids a rich array of Lillie and jasper blooms
It's a plane I so adore to wander
Where my sanity finds it's reasoned cry.

If you come and journey here
You will find the greatest valleys alive to you
and here within this sacred place
I'd place your seat unto eternity.

Shall Time Begin

Post by Alisdaire » Sat Feb 21, 2004 6:42 pm

Shall Time Begin

It's like a long day that never ends
as if something deep is so amiss
that nothing fills the moment
Nor can drift the tide to its shore.

It isn't normal, this want
That haunts the passage of time
makes the mind but drift in thought
To caress days gone by.

I tend to be here
more and more this day fills
Till lingering upon a word once spoken
The soul gathers all around.

I'm bound to thought
Such a sacred thing to me
That seems to awaken
To sigh the delicate breath.

To say I miss you
In no way girds the truth
but simply justifies the word
Leaving me wanting.

There are times when I once
in dreams of you rode
all the graces of heaven's heights
And rested within the knowing.

I await the silent shore
where time bids my rest
To bide amongst the fragrant forms
Of all I dearly miss.

Then come the day
when again your smile but breaks
From horizon to horizon all life
Then again shall time begin.
