GERALD "JERRY" LA VERGNE
1955 - 2016 Obituary Condolences

Gerald "Jerry" La Vergne, 60, passed in his sleep on Saturday, March 12, 2016, in Arlington. Service: A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 16, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Mariposa Apartments, main floor, 2600 Hunter Road, San Marcos. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make donations to the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas at http://www.epilepsy.com/. Born June 11, 1955, to Maurice and Clara Ann La Vergne in Houston, Jerry graduated from Spring Woods High School in 1973. He enjoyed a long career in the IT industry with Texas Instruments and Hewlett-Packard. He was preceded in death by his father, Maurice "Mel" La Vergne. Survivors: Jerry is survived by his mother, Clara Ann Mansolo; brothers, Larry La Vergne and wife, Karen, and David La Vergne and Shirley La Vergne; and his two nieces, Lauren Foster and husband, Trace, and Lana La Vergne.
