A forum for our dear friend, Preston, also known as "The Texan" and a charter member of "The Westies". His inimicable wit will be missed.

Major food corporations use tissue from aborted babies to manufacture flavor additives in processed foods

Daddy, is he a goodie or a baddie
Leave a light outside the door
Once upon a time there were cannibals
There are no cannibals anymore

Shades of Soylent Green. I thought only the Chinese did these kind of things. If true, it tells much of what one needs to know about "Modern Times." It seems it's not just dog-eat-dog anymore! Aren't humans lovely but what the hell, business is business.

I'm not as concerned with whether or not people will believe it's true ... as I am with whether or not people will care.

The American reputation for apathy is well deserved.
Combine that with the ease with which those in power can get us to believe whatever they want us to believe ... and I don't expect to see anyone boycotting these companies over this.

Hello Preston, I googled Senomyx the company responsible for this process. A real eye opener. Take Care
Take me back, so far back, adjust this fate. Afeared lately of pen, in abscence of light. The fear I might stumble upon a plagiarized soul. Wipe this dark slate clean, regain my thought. Add the words that rekindle my depth of soul.
