Confession clarifies a prideful heart
Removes the shelter of disputed lies
Built deep inside recesses where they start
Accumulating with each compromise
By it's essence it cleans a troubled mind
Fraught with fragile thoughts of worldly matters
Releasing them from where they've been confined
Stabbing in like tiny little daggers
Forgiveness always follows after prayer
Our sins forgotten when we realize
That evil's always present Always there
It's tempting indiscretions breeding lies
