Mankind's Due

Godliness will come to man
when mountains crumble into sand
The only future that we planned
is further from where we now stand
Such blasphemies proclaimed in prayer
Confirm to me that God's not there
Still listening in his easy chair
Omniscently somewhere upstairs
Godliness is not ordained
It's only there to spread the blame
since all religion fans the flames
when God elsewhere has different names
So,..worldliness is mankind's due
Corruption spreading like the flu
Consuming more than we have to
Infecting anything brand new
Godliness just can't compete
Once we're aware of its defeat
The world is full of theives and cheats
as God becomes more obsolete

Oh, bags, Really, this comes from you! I never knew you felt this way! Did you write this as a scary warning because it's Halloween time? Yes, it's true! Satan does rule on earth today. God allows it for now. That is why, like you say, "the world is full of thieves and cheats." But, he won't rule forever! Read Revelation. Jesus is coming and satan will meet his end. He will be thrown into the lake of fire. God will never become obsolete! Millions of believers will testify to that, my friend. satan is the great deceiver. No one should listen to him and lose their Eternity. Jesus saves lives. Satan kills. I down to My Lord and praise Him for His love and faithfulness.

I'm happy to hear that, bags. But your poem doesn't show it! Also, I meant to say in my last reply that satan rules the earth for now because God wants people to have a choice. He won't force anyone to love Him. We can either go His Way or satans, that's our choice. And I think you knew I'd counter that poem of yours!
