At Day's End

Post by DarleneG » Sun Feb 23, 2014 2:03 am

May the peace of evening
enter in, when all is put to rest.
Today's door, let it close.
You've done your very best.

Tomorrow, you'll begin again,
to start another day.
But now, allow the peace of God
to refresh your soul, I pray.

Mt. 11:28-30 "...Come to me you who are weary...
and I will give you rest for your souls."

:hello: Thanks, bags. I needed that good word. Strange, how I wrote that poem a few days ago, not knowing I would need the peace mentioned in my poem. Because last night the computer hackers got me. I just finished a poem about my experience and will be typing it in soon. I have bounced back after hurt, and as usual, turn my experience into a poem.
