Tasting God's Word

Post by DarleneG » Tue Oct 29, 2013 10:47 am

"The proof is in the pudding,"

my mother used to say.

So my spoon is always ready,

To taste God's word today.

"The proff is in the pudding" was one of my fathers favorite sayings. I still find myself using it when the occasion permits. Thanks Darlene.

:hello: I'm glad it reminded you of your father, bags. I guess that dates me, too! I was just thinking that God's Word is pudding for the soul. Comfort food and filling. That's where the poem came from.
