i dont know how in the world i let this on drop off, it really sucks cuz it had so many cool comments on it, well here it is again i wrote it when my grandma died a few years back

Bare Feet on Gold

How can I cry
when I know where you are?
Shining more brightly
than any sun, moon or star.

How can I mourn.
Oh! How can I cry!
You've only left an earthly cocoon
to become heaven's butterfly.

Yet if I do weep,
any tear you may see
won't be shed in sorrow
but joyful jubilee.

Your eternity has only begun to unfold

When I hear your laughter drifting down
and the pitter-patter sound
of bare feet on gold.
