If Ribbons And Bows, Who Knows?

She gives me her best grin
When she walks in
To the room

My heart nearly melts within
As I squeeze her close
To my chest

And in that brief, forever moment
I realize something about God
And His gift

Being a father I could never
Give up either
One

But as I hug my daughter
I realize why He had to
Sacrifice His Son

There is no way, not even God
Could've watched as nails
Pierced

Soft, white hands that he had held
Had God had a daughter
I think

None of us would have been redeemed

Ya know... that's a good point... what if God had, had a daughter instead... would his purpose and will still be served?

As the father of a son and daughter I can relate to your emotional attachment to your offspring.

Can you share your realization as to why g-d had to
sacrifice his son?
