Jan Skácel - Proverbs
(Přísloví)

I worried about the world so much
that I began to make up proverbs.
There are long truths as well as the short ones.
And if the punishment doesn't come immediately,
you have to serve a term of your own life for your guilt.
And no one can ever undo what has been done.
And no one can write a song
for a blind girl and for a wingless bird.

This piece is particularly strong. I like the sadness it conveys.
