SATURN'S MANIFESTO: INTRO

Post by LadySaturn » Sun Dec 24, 2017 7:35 pm

Saturn's Manifesto: Intro

Back from the dead.
Screaming from beyond the grave.
Praying to be heard
and not seen as just another tragedy waiting to unfold.
Flawed.
You bet.
What I wouldn't give for a little piece of mind.
But the world wouldn't allow it.
Too much chaos.
Too much noise.
I could no longer stand on the sidelines.
Really wasn't my cup of tea.
Watching from behind the fence and not saying a word
was never really me.
Rumors and whispers were all they ever were.
The day I retire is the day I stop breathing.
I love the writing game too much to quit.
I just needed a moment to find serenity.
One needs to get their soul right
before they lose sight of who they really are.
Turn into a heathen and say things they don't really mean.
Isolating everyone they know.
I didn't need to go down that road.
I got a hold of my demons
before they got a hold of me.
Stringing them out for all to see.
To prove that I'm after all only human.
Through it all, it's made me stronger.
Wiser.
More determined to come back harder.
To fight for what is right.
Make the "underdog" heard.
So step right in and take a seat inside my mind.
For the show is about to begin
and I'm only getting started...

The line stood out as I was reading this emotional resolution.
Peace and love be with you.

I really like this. I can relate to tiring of being on the sidelines. Thank God for the gift of choice!

Thank you, both. It humbles me greatly.
