I lost my shirt
you took the prize
you canceled my debt
painted the bluest skies
you make me laugh
I make you recoil
a fool and his money
you are my foil
it's a thankless task
one I don't really mind
in a world of clones
you're one of a kind
I'm puzzled by events
who's pulling the strings?
reading the tea leaves
sleepwalker's running rings
anything is possible
opportunities are few
I'll convince the skeptics
truly I love you
you make me laugh
I make you ill
I make you think
someday say you will
I lost the battle
you won the war
I gave up trying
you gave even more
is it pure chance?
or just a lucky break?
for better or worse
all others to forsake
I lost my shirt
you took the prize
captured my heart
I'm lost in your eyes.

So do the "running rings" belong to the sleepwalker, or are the sleepwalkers running rings?I'm puzzled by events
who's pulling the strings?

If my measurements are correct, I think I achieve more lasting good in my sleep.

Honestly, maybe because of lack of my English ability, I'm not really sure what you're struggling for. But I see a hint at the very end as I quoted your struggle still continues. I struggle, too, to savor life to the utmost with a feeling that it may be achieved when I'm able to just let go. Thanks for sharing, audiofool.

Thanks for commenting, soular.
I think I'm saying something about the mystery of falling in love-being in love. It can seem like one has come under the control of irrational, even unconscious forces.
