They dwell beneath our feet,
The hardest workers hunt and eat,
Little ones we almost cannot see,
Yet they build tunnels and cities
Simple and complex we yet to see!

Image if they were us building their world,
Out of dirt and dust without single word.
Using only chemicals as language,
They would be the conquerors of our age!

Monuments and temples would be
Rising to the Sun’s Divinity!
Earth would be a different place without us in the colony.
Only if we rewind the story of life’s fertility
Upon this planet that need of serenity!

Every time I go to the mountains or see the trees, birds, ants and other creatures in the city
I remember that we're just a part of the whole and feel grateful that they remind me.
