willing recruits
to join a lost cause
fill a few boots
twenty hours
a charity case
no harm no foul
the bitter aftertaste
bitten and bleeding
still carry on
band-aid solutions
my mind is gone
energy flagging
focus is blurred
the daily slog
impolitic word
miscreant minions
commanded by ghouls
marching to annihilation
in accordance with rules
God as my witness
how can we lose?
judgment pending
