I Lost A Poem

Post by DarleneG » Sat Apr 11, 2015 7:52 pm

I heard a poem inside my head,
but as I dozed, my poem fled.
It drifted off and I think I know,
where my poem chose to go.
Because while I slumbered in my bed,
it found a home in you instead!

:hello: Oh, now I get it, Heinz,! You were trying to tell me I already wrote about lost poems! And It wasn't too long ago I posted that either! I'm slipping I guess. And if I posted that here, I probably posted it on the other site also. And no harm in repeating, But this time, I really did forget. And I like this one better than "Lost Dreams" where I was thinking of Lost poems! But I probably will start reprinting some of my earlier poems on PoetryPages because of all the new people who have joined and have not read my earlier poems. I hope that is all right? By the way, Are you going to let us know what poetry means to you? I'm surprised I haven't heard from Stephen on that subject yet either. Maybe I should personally invite him to respond. And also some of the others. :thewave: :thewave: Ah, the jumping little ones, my favorites!

Keep writing about them, this is wonderful!

:hello: Thank you so much for liking this poem, and for bringing me back to this forum. I sort of drifted away toward Heinzs other poetry pages on Facebook when I asked him where have all the poets gone that used to post here? And he told me they have all gone to Facebook. So I was getting more feedback and could interact with other poets more frequently there.

But now that I'm here, I will check out the other forums. I am, or used to be a moderator on the Spiritual forum. But shame on me, I have neglected to visit there in quite a while because I got so caught up on Facebook . Now I want to find your poems and read some. Blessings, Darlene :computer:
