I'm up the creek
firmly tongue-in-cheek
seems more than fair
brute force
has run its course
world in subjection
free will failed
justice is jailed
kindness insurrection
a protest
against progress
in the name of progress
to profit
but a few
the favored
call in favors
to deliver their posteriors
from the likes
of me and you
