Heartache
Heartbreak
Silent stings torment
A jagged blade that cuts
A troubled torture no one sees
Melancholy madness
An ocean of emotion
Drowning in brokenness…

Storms surge in your green oceans
Scattering the wreckage
Do I sever the lifeline?
Heart of my heart
Gift of my soul
Watching you drift away?
Or do I remain calm
Rest in the eye of the storm
Pray my love binds you
Finds you
Embraces you
Knowing hope endures
Despite my wounds
Bleeding love
That never fails...
