Cerebral Stew

Then upon me came thought
In those hallowed halls where echo’s flowed
Dark, dark through veins of blood
Pulsing with the reddening flood
Thick and slow like flowing mud
In this inner realm of my spiritual abode

Topsy Turvy threads of cerebral nous
Where cogent waves of thought transpire
Hail, hail, hearken to the lucent soul
The Inner man, the burning coal
The wise sage, the ancient scroll
To cogitate the chaos of our mental brier

From whence forms the grand ideal
The withering bleak of the blathering fool
Rave, rave the psyche of man
Creation lies in the palm of his hand
Where does he stand in the master plan
When God sends his children to school

Bric-a Brac

Death will be your final victory over life
Rejoice, for victory comes even as you live
Spread your arms and embrace the future
