A stranger in this crowded room

Post by kuperian4ever » Sat Dec 28, 2013 8:00 pm

Stranger in this crowded room

I have no standing here
I’m simply coming in
A stranger in this crowded room

I look around intently
At all the goings on
Hoping that a friendship starts to bloom

But a stranger I remain
I start to feel the pain
And I believe my presence here has met its doom

I send out salutations
But I receive no invitations
So I remain a stranger here - in this crowded room

So now I take my leave
But I refuse to grieve
These people don’t like strangers, I presume

They can keep this place
I’ll remove my face
For to me it’s like I’m in standing in some lonely, haunted tomb

Death will be your final victory over life
Rejoice, for victory comes even as you live
Spread your arms and embrace the future
