THERE IS A LAND NOT FAR AWAY

Post by FirestoneFeinberg » Fri Jun 15, 2012 9:29 am

THERE IS A LAND NOT FAR AWAY

There is a land not far away —
Where everything is good —
Where people act because they care —
And do the things they should.

It lies not on this earthly plane —
Nor ‘neath the oceans wide —
But find it will you if you peek
Into terrain inside.

i think i would love a land hwere people act because they care. I feel (and fear) that this time has become very apathetic.

Thanks for reading and for writing to me. I fear as you do that I'm thinking unrealistically. Alas -- what else -- even so -- to do? --David

Instinctively we can see
things are not as they should be.
I would we could live as we should
But fear that we are to crude.
Perhaps in time we will mature.
Though honestly I can't be sure.
It is a dream which may come true.
You seem to think the way I do.

I do think the way you do... alas... what can we do but wait and hope and pray. Thanks for your poetic comment -- a joy to read. Take care. --David
