Oh India
The Eternal
Mother of the World

Of the spirit
Of the multitude of God

In color
And the fabric of time

A past
At once
Alive and shattered

The present
A crush
Of humanity and inhumanity

A future
Of hope and despair

Oh India
Mother of the World

Unerringly hits the mark. Truth is difficult to digest. Let me ruminate on that.......BeeJay

Hello "Motherland" I'm not sure if I would keep "and inhumanity" in the 5th verse. It's as if there's an apology for the "Crush Of Humanity" by adding inhumanity. Great stuff Take Care
Take me back, so far back, adjust this fate. Afeared lately of pen, in abscence of light. The fear I might stumble upon a plagiarized soul. Wipe this dark slate clean, regain my thought. Add the words that rekindle my depth of soul.
