I think it was Uganda, but may even have been South Africa. That whole continent is in a turmoil. I'm just glad that Naushin found her way to the States.

I have other African poetry friends that have vanished. Gbenga Ajileye no longer posts. Serdyn DuToit (lmoen) has been missing in action for at least 5 years, as has my first friend Mpumelelo Rantsolase (Lelo).

Oh well... life moves on and there's never any "going back".
Heinzs my dearest friend even after all this time you still speak of me, I hear my son met you on facebook, he is impersonating me on facebook and I assure you it will neve happen again, he had no authority to mention the chieftain war to you and I feel ashamed that he out of all people misses my writting, I will write again as my soul depends on it I will write.
Africa is a beautiful and most captivating of all places in the world, yet it is the most brutal and unrelenting place in the whole world, yet just because people go off the grid now and again doesn't mean they are dead trust me on this one we Africans have to be the most resilient people on the whole world, your friends in Africa will return just as I have!
