XXXXXXXXXX

Post by Leysa » Mon Sep 22, 2008 2:06 pm

A keystroke, capitalized, replicated.
I smiled in memory
of the physical joining symbolized
in his simple message.

One letter repeated
much as that first kiss
became many before the night ended
at my door.

Myriad beginnings grace our lives
yet none match the fervor
of the premier glow of passion
from lips’ first touch.

I reprised his message
echoing the sentiment,
longing for the reoccurrence of the heat
that simple letter promised.

XXXXXX, indeed.

Sometimes there's something incredible sexy, but sweet, about a message sent via text or e-mail Doesn't replace the real thing ... but it's nice to get the message at work ... makes me smile

I'm jealous. But way happy for you. Ah... the Love poems are so much more delicious than the purging of resentment... You do it well.

Thanks -- of course the love poems can lead to the purging so easily ... ah, but that's life, isn't it!
