Bumble, be

I've heard it said
that scientifically
a bumblebee cannot fly
So Mr. bumblebee
why do you even try?

And the critics say
your ideas won't fly
Jamming equations and formulas
in your face
and if you believe them
you just simply lay down
and cry
and don't even try

So when Zoe said to me,
"Daddy, if I pray to God,
can I fly?"
I just said," Zoe,
My little Bumble bee,
Shoot for the sky"

I like the 'idea', though I'm sure you are aware that the 'bumblebee can't fly' thing has been sussed now?

This poem was a sure delight to read. What a wonderful, wonderful perspective.

Your daughter is blessed to have such a dad. She will never forget such wonderful guidance.
